Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book a session with you?

Just reach out via my booking page and we’ll get you on the calendar. No deposit needed to book—full payment is due before I send over your proofing gallery.

What’s considered a Look?

A ‘Look’ is considered a wardrobe/background/lighting change. Looks can range from super colorful and bright to dark and moody theatrical, and everything in between.

Where will we shoot?

We’ll shoot at my studio in La Mesa, California. Once you book your session, I’ll reach out with my studio address.

What if I need to reschedule?

Totally fine—you can reschedule once with at least 48 hours’ notice. If something last-minute comes up and I can’t rebook that time, there may be a small fee.

What if I’m running late?

Try your best to arrive on time and camera-ready. Sessions end at the scheduled time, even if we get started late, just to keep everything on track for other clients.

When will I get my photos?

You’ll receive your proofing gallery a few days after your shoot. Once you pick your favorites, I’ll send over your final retouched digital images in about 3-5 business days. Need them faster? 24 hour rush delivery is available for a small fee—just ask!

Do you retouch the photos?

Yes—final images include natural retouching including color and light adjustments, skin smoothing, eye brightening, acne removal, stray hairs, and minor touch-ups. I like to keep my retouching as natural-looking as possible. Authenticity is everything, so I want you to look like YOU and not a wax figure! Note: I don’t release raw (unedited) files.

Can I use my images however I want?

Yep! You’ll have personal usage rights forever, so you can use them for your website, LinkedIn, social media, print materials, etc. I retain copyright, and I may use select images for my portfolio—unless you’d prefer I didn’t. Just let me know in writing!

What if you have to cancel?

If something unexpected comes up on my end (like illness or an emergency), I’ll offer you a reschedule or a full refund—no stress.
